When I started this blog, we were Fulltime RV'ers. We have since settled down in a house in Northern California and am now quilting again. Since we are not traveling anymore, I will continue the blog in the quilting mode. When life gives you scraps, make quilts.

The Birthday Dress for Alanna
I made my great granddaughter Alanna a dress with pinafore and petticoats for her 3rd birthday. She will be lovely in this dress as she is a very cute little girl. I enjoyed making it but oh my....what a job. It is a vintage Daisy Kingdom pattern which goes into so much detail in the construction of their garments so I wouldn't want to do this very often. She's worth it though.
Update: I have a photo of Alanna in her dress along with a doll dress to match I made for her baby.
