When I started this blog, we were Fulltime RV'ers. We have since settled down in a house in Northern California and am now quilting again. Since we are not traveling anymore, I will continue the blog in the quilting mode. When life gives you scraps, make quilts.

Mini quilts
Denise, my dearest friend and quilting buddy steered me off onto mini quilts for a break from the usual big stuff we make. It was fun. The goal is to make a tiny version of the big patterns and it's quite interesting and no as easy as you might think. I have made two so far. Both pinwheel patterns with simple framing and binding. I like them but my husband said, " Bah. They're too much work for what you wind up with." They measure 10 l/2" X 12 l/2 "
